Summary

Frindle is a book about a boy named Nick, who wanted to change the real word pen to a fake word frindle. Mrs. Granger, his language arts teacher, didn't like the idea of changing a perfectly good word so she tried to stop Nick and the other students by punishing

them. In the end, all the publicity Nick got from the press, helped make frindle a new word in the dictionary.
