In
October 2004, two hundred educators from across the United States
departed for Tokyo, Japan
as part of the Fulbright Memorial Fund
Trip to Japan. This
was the beginning of a three- week
adventure,
during which time the educators attended seminars, observed cultural
events, visited
schools, met with local officials, stayed
with a Japanese host family, and otherwise immersed
themselves in Japanese culture. Included here is an individual
account, replete
with relevant
images, sounds, movie clips,
and external links.
