Game Results for 5/7/07 – Home vs. Farmington

The Spartans’ softball team blew past Farmington 16 – 3 yesterday afternoon. Seventh-graders, Sarah Brochu and Brittany Labbadia proved to be a strong pitching duo; striking out 16 batters and only allowing one hit apiece. Bobbi Temple led the offense with two hits including a double and a single. Nikki Dunham smashed a two-RBI double sending Temple and Brochu home in the fourth. Monica Meucci also belted a double in deep centerfield, while Kristina Hagmeier connected well with the ball, reaching base four times for McGee. The girls play away at Cromwell on Wednesday.
