Berlin’s McGee Middle School defeated RHAM of Hebron in their season opener yesterday by a score of 10-6. Pitcher, Bobbi Temple, went the distance for the Spartans hurling 13 strikeouts and aided her own cause by hitting two RBIs. Third baseman, Monica Meucci, led the offensive attack belting a double and a single along with three RBIs. The Spartans also had key hits from Kelly Walsh, Sarah Brochu, Brittany Labbadia, Amanda McLeod, Mackenzie Freeland, and Megan Pitkin.
